Don’t buy it if…

If you’re on a tight budget:

If money’s no issue, the DJI Mini 2 is an excellent choice for beginners. But consider the original Mavic Mini if you’re looking for the best value. It’s cheaper if you shop around, and since it has nearly the same camera, the video quality is still good, even though it only shoots in 2.7K.

If you already have a Mavic Mini:

The DJI Mini 2 is an improvement over the Mavic Mini, but not by much. If you’re happy with the 2.7K video, the main upgrade is the new controller. So, postponing upgrading and waiting for the DJI Mini 3 might be best.

If you fly at night:

If you plan to fly your drone often at night, consider a more advanced drone like the DJI Phantom 4 Pro V2.0. It’s more expensive and less portable, but it offers better video quality, especially with its larger 1-inch sensor and professional features.
